1. Accomodation Areas
Student Village
AGU Student Village has been made suitable for the use of students by the extensive repair of the workers' housing buildings belonging to the historical Sümerbank Cloth Factory and the rearrangement of the open areas. The old coal buildings are also used as office and warehouse areas with maintenance and repair operations.
A new building which was built within a purpose of a student center, was built by preserving the old two coal buildings in the area and making additions to the existing one. Open to students use; there is a jogging track, tennis court and basketball courts. In addition, our students who want to work together with the AGU Bostan project area, which is carried out by the Faculty of Architecture, can find the opportunity to team-build in this area.
There are 22 number of buildings in the area. In these buildings, our students live in the comfort of home with their own kitchens and bathrooms.
There is 24/7 security protection in the area, and our students are safely accommodated with adequate lighting levels and environmental protection walls organized by our Department.

The interior lodgings of the Sümerbank Cloth Factory, which is located in the Sümer Campus area, consisting of 4 blocks, have undergone extensive renovation and repair and have been in service since 2013.

AGU Social Service Building
It is a building obtained by projecting a 10-storey masonry apartment, located on Sivas Street and allocated to our university in 2014. The reinforcement costs and reconstruction costs of the building were compared and it was determined that the reinforcement of the building was not economical. In this direction, the building was demolished and a new one was built. There are 32 accommodation areas and common use areas offered to the users in the building.

AGU Guesthouse
The guesthouse building from the time of the Sümerbank Cloth Factory in the Sumer Campus has been restored by the AGU Foundation, and the maintenance / repair works are carried out by our Department.

2. Sport Areas
Fitness Building
A new fitness building with an area of approximately 1000m2 was built in the Sümer Campus area. The building has been in service since 2018.

Open Sports Field
Tennis, basketball, volleyball and football fields were manufactured in the Sümer Campus, and tennis and basketball courts, walking / running track were built in the Student Village within the landscape project.

3. Socio-Cultural Activity Areas
Multi Purpose Hall
This area is located on the ground floor of the Rectorate, Administrative and Classrooms Building B Block. Table tennis, billiards and so on. events, exhibitions, promotion, search conferences, etc. other activities are carried out.

Conference Hall and Flexible Meeting Rooms
There is a 250-person conference hall in the basement of Block A of the Rectorate, Administrative and Classrooms Building. The conference hall has been designed to provide the physical and technical conditions that will allow processes such as simultaneous translation during the construction phase.

Right next to the Conference Hall, there are 3 different sizes (65m2, 55m2 and 40 m2) meeting rooms that can be combined and separated for different events. Thanks to the soundproof sliding folding panels located between these rooms, the spaces can be used separately or integrated.

Open Activity Areas
Activities such as spring festivals and graduation ceremonies are held in the outdoor activity areas in the Sumer Campus, and all necessary technical infrastructure facilities are provided by our unit before and during the event.

4. Dining Halls and Café’s
Great Warehouse Main Dining Hall
The historical Sümerbank Cloth Factory was used as a workers' dining hall and was renovated within the scope of the restoration within the Great Warehouse and opened to the service of users.

Çatı Cafe
The abandoned building, located in the center of the Interior Housing area from the historical Sümerbank Cloth Factory period, has been extensively renovated and made ready for use. With the maintenance of the open-green areas around it, the place has a very spacious use.

Student Village Cafe
It is a cafeteria project created by preserving the old 2 coal buildings in the Student Village area and including them in the project. It is not yet available for use.
